Analyzer lj-lua-newstr

Name

lj-lua-newstr - LuaJIT String Objects Allocation Flame Graph

This analyzer profiles string object allocations in LuaJIT-based applications such as OpenResty, Kong, and APISIX. It captures stack traces whenever new string objects are created in Lua-land code. The analyzer generates flame graphs that visualize the distribution of string allocation hotspots across Lua function calls, helping identify excessive string creation patterns that may impact memory usage and garbage collection performance.
