file-system-fgraph - File System Flame Graph

This analyzer recursively scans a specified directory and generates a flame graph of its disk-space usage. Each stack represents a path in the directory hierarchy, and the width of each frame reflects the actual disk space consumed by the files and directories beneath it. The analyzer helps identify which paths account for the most disk usage. It analyzes stored data rather than profiling runtime file I/O operations or latency.

# Command Line Syntax

The analyzer can be invoked directly on the command-line via the orxray utility from the openresty-xray-cli software package.

Alternatively, the analyzer can also be invoked manually or automatically on the web console UI of OpenResty XRay (like on the Advanced web page).

# PID is the target process PID.
orxray analyzer run file-system-fgraph -p PID

# trace a shell command directly
orxray analyzer run file-system-fgraph -c SHELL_CMD

# PGID is the process group ID or any process's PID within the target process
# group.
