Analyzer lj-lua-tab-resize

Name

lj-lua-tab-resize - LuaJIT Table resize Flame Graph

This analyzer profiles memory allocation patterns in LuaJIT-based applications by tracing Lua table resize operations. It captures stack traces whenever LuaJIT resizes table structures in applications such as OpenResty, Kong, and APISIX. The analyzer generates flame graphs that visualize the call paths leading to table resizing events, helping identify inefficient table usage patterns, excessive memory reallocations, and opportunities for pre-sizing tables to improve performance.

# trace a shell command directly
orxray analyzer run lj-lua-tab-resize -c SHELL_CMD

# PGID is the process group ID or any process's PID within the target process
# group.
orxray analyzer run lj-lua-tab-resize -p -PGID

# trace any processes started from the specified executable path.
