Analyzer lj-lua-newfunc

Name

lj-lua-newfunc - Lua-Land New Function Creation Flame Graph sampling Tool for LuaJIT Applications.

This analyzer profiles Lua function object creation in LuaJIT-based applications such as OpenResty, Kong, and APISIX. It captures stack traces at function instantiation points in Lua-land code, tracking dynamic function creation patterns and closure allocation behavior. The analyzer generates flame graphs that visualize function creation distribution across call chains, helping identify excessive function object allocation and optimize closure usage.
