Analyzer kmalloc-leak-fgraph
Name
kmalloc-leak-fgraph - kmalloc leakage Flame Graph
This analyzer detects memory leaks in kernel-level kmalloc allocations. It traces kmalloc and kfree calls, identifying allocation sites where memory is allocated but never freed within the specified monitoring period. The analyzer generates flame graphs visualizing the call stacks of leaked allocations, enabling developers to pinpoint the exact code paths responsible for kernel memory leaks.
Resource Category
Memory.

Alternatively, the analyzer can also be invoked manually or automatically on the web console UI of OpenResty XRay (like on the Advanced web page).
# PID is the target process PID.
orxray analyzer run kmalloc-leak-fgraph -p PID
# trace a shell command directly
orxray analyzer run kmalloc-leak-fgraph -c SHELL_CMD
# PGID is the process group ID or any process's PID within the target process
# group.
orxray analyzer run kmalloc-leak-fgraph -p -PGID
# trace any processes started from the specified executable path.
orxray analyzer run kmalloc-leak-fgraph --exe /path/to/exe/file
